Lance C. Venable
Mr. Venable is the founding shareholder of the firm and is a Registered Patent Attorney. Mr. Venable’s practice is concentrated in intellectual property litigation and prosecution, including patent and trademark prosecution, copyrights, software protection, trade secrets and confidentiality. Mr. Venable is also a Judge Pro Tempore in the Maricopa County Superior Court.
Michael F. Campillo
Mr. Campillo is a registered patent attorney. Mr. Campillo’s practice is concentrated in intellectual property litigation, procurement, and counseling. His litigation practice includes: patent infringement litigation and inventorship disputes; Lanham Act claims; and misappropriation of trade secrets claims. Intellectual Property procurement practice includes the prosecution of patents and trademarks before the Patent Office. Technological areas of expertise include integrated circuits, combined electrical and mechanical systems, vacuum valves and circuits, and business methods.
David Logan, Ph.D.

Joseph R. Meaney
Joe is a registered patent attorney and a licensed professional engineer in Arizona. Joe represents clients in all aspects of intellectual property, including patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright law. Carey Brandt Anthony
Carey is a registered patent attorney. Carey graduated from Texas A&M University (B.S.CHEN.) in 2000 and Arizona State University (J.D.) cum laude in 2003. While at Texas A&M University, Carey was admitted to the Phi Eta Sigma national honor society. Carey represents clients in all aspects of intellectual property, including patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright law. Her practice includes patent and trademark prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, litigation of intellectual property disputes in both federal and state court, and the preparation of various documents, including licensing agreements and assignments. Carey is admitted in both the state and federal courts of Arizona and is a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
John C. Mascari
John is a litigation and commercial transaction attorney, who is licensed in New York, Connecticut and Arizona. After being a partner at the law firm of Harrington, Ocko & Monk in New York, John relocated to Arizona and joined Venable, Campillo, Logan & Meaney. John represents clients in all aspects of litigation, including state and Federal court matters, as well as mediations, arbitrations and other ADR proceedings. Besides litigation, his practice areas include corporate structure/business formation, contracts, real estate, torts (prosecution and defense), construction law, administrative issues and wills, estates and trusts. John also buttresses the intellectual property litigation and transactions of the firm. Prior to graduating law school, John was the operations manager of a mid-sized construction company and work for the New York State Organized Crime Task Force.
