Dr. Logan is a registered Patent Attorney and is admitted to the bar of Arizona.
He received his B.S. in chemistry, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Southern
Methodist University and earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from
the University of New Mexico. He received his J.D., cum laude, from the College
of Law at Arizona State University, and is past Secretary of Intellectual Property
Section of the Arizona State Bar.
Dr. Logan represents foreign and domestic clients
in all aspects of intellectual property including Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights,
Trade Secrets, Internet Law and Litigation. His practice includes patent and trademark
prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, counseling on
litigation of intellectual property disputes, and the preparation of various documents,
including licensing agreements and assignments. He is admitted to practice before
the US Patent and Trademark Office and both the state and federal courts of Arizona.
Prior to practicing law, Dr. Logan presented more than twenty scientific presentations,
authored over twenty scientific publications, and co-invented two issued US patents.
He is a member of the American Chemical Society, the American Institute of Chemical
Engineers and participated in the Arizona/Sonora Judicial Relations Project.
